Vintage Pink and Clear Rhinestone Flower Brooch -- Sparkling Pink (J007)
Item for your consideration is a lovely pink and clear rhinestone brooch in VERY GOOD condition. The gold-toned metal brooch measures approximately 1" around. The brooch is a flower design with alternating rows of pink and clear rhinestones forming the "petals". The gold-toned metal backing is barely visible with all of these rhinestones. The center clear rhinestone is set in a gold "stamen".
The metal finish is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or age spots. The chaton-cut rhinestones are all present and set in alternating hand-set and hand-set with prongs type settings. They are in wonderful condition with the exception of the center clear rhinestone, which is cloudy. The locking pin closure functions correctly.
There are no markings on this brooch but it came attached to a card marked "Sherry-Craft" which has been a costume jewelry trademark in Philadelphia, PA since 1953. This item came from an estate grouping dating from the 1960's or earlier.
